Music that fits your Eastbourne venue
Our Sussex venue guide includes our recommended-supplier relationships with The Grand Hotel and the Cavendish Hotel in Eastbourne. Tell us the venue and the rooms you are using, so the music and equipment can fit the actual plan for your day.
The Grand Hotel
The Grand offers different wedding settings, including the Compton Room, Princes Room and Princes Lawn. A ceremony outside followed by an indoor reception needs a different music plan from an evening celebration in one room. Share the spaces you have booked and any room changes, and we can discuss ceremony sound, speeches and the evening DJ with you and the venue team.

The Cavendish Hotel
For a wedding at the Cavendish on Eastbourne’s seafront, start with your reception room and running order. We provide recurring entertainment at the hotel and can discuss a separate wedding proposal around your music, timings and selected extras. Confirm which services your venue package already includes before adding anything.
Chosen another Eastbourne venue? Send us its name and your plans. We check access, equipment space, power and venue requirements for each booking.
Choose evening entertainment or all-day music
- Evening DJ — from £650: five hours of DJ entertainment, sound system, booth, disco lighting and personal music planning.
- All-Day Wedding — from £1,000: morning setup, ceremony music and PA, wedding breakfast music, speeches and announcements, venue coordination and evening DJ entertainment.
If your ceremony and speeches are already covered, evening entertainment may be all you need. If you want music through more of the day, tell us the moments and rooms involved. Compare the wedding packages or read our guide to comparing DJ quotes.
Plan your first dance and the music around it
After booking, your private PlanningBeats portal keeps your timings, music ideas, must-plays and songs to avoid together. Tell us what matters to you: a first-dance track, the songs your friends share, or the music that will bring different generations onto the floor. Your DJ uses that brief and responds to your guests on the night.

Add the extras that suit the room
A white LED dance floor, Magic Mirror photo booth, uplighting or 4ft illuminated letters and numbers can be included in your proposal. Check what the venue already supplies and where each item will sit. Dancing on Clouds and confetti depend on venue approval and suitability.
Party and corporate DJs in Eastbourne
For a birthday, anniversary or company celebration, tell us the venue, guest numbers and the atmosphere you want. We can plan background music, microphones for a welcome or speeches, and the move into the evening party. Our party and corporate DJ service explains the options.
For a hotel dinner, include any room turnaround and the evening guest arrival time. For a hall party, allow access for setup and clearing away as well as the hours guests are dancing. You can send the details you have; we will help work through the rest with you.
Polegate, Willingdon and the Eastbourne area
We also take bookings in Polegate, Willingdon, Pevensey, Pevensey Bay, Westham, Stone Cross, East Dean and Friston. For a hotel, village hall or private reception, include the venue postcode and whether guests will move between ceremony and party spaces. That lets us plan the sound, setup access and timings around the place you have chosen.
What should we send with our enquiry?
Your date, venue, reception room, approximate guest numbers and preferred start and finish times are a useful starting point. Mention any ceremony sound, microphones or extras you need, and anything your venue has already told you about setup or music finish times.
Ask about your wedding date, call 07862 197851 or email info@sussexdjcompany.com.
An enquiry does not reserve your date. We check availability and send a personal proposal; your booking documents explain the steps needed to confirm the booking.
