This notice explains how Sussex DJ Company handles information through our website assistant. It covers this feature only.
What happens when you ask a question
When you submit a typed question for an AI answer, our website sends that question, our approved public service information and the identifiers of your selected package and extras to Make and its AI service providers. We use this information to answer your question about our services.
The assistant does not collect the name, email address, telephone number, event date, venue or notes entered in our enquiry form. It does not read our email inbox, customer records or Stripe records. Please do not type personal information, private booking details or payment information into the assistant: anything you include in your question is sent for processing.
The quick FAQ buttons display prepared answers without making an external AI request. You can also contact our team directly.
Technical records on our website
The assistant does not save a raw transcript of your questions in WordPress. To prevent misuse, handle duplicate requests and manage usage, its plugin stores a coded network identifier, request fingerprints, processing status, limited fixed responses and usage counters.
- Visitor rate-limit records expire after 20 minutes.
- Duplicate-request records expire after 24 hours.
- Daily usage counters expire after 3 days; monthly usage counters after 62 days.
Expired records are removed by scheduled daily cleanup, so expiry and removal may happen at different times. These periods describe the assistant plugin’s records, rather than all website hosting or security logs.
Processing by Make and AI providers
Make is configured to keep the content processed by this assistant out of its scenario execution-history logs. Separate webhook request and response logs are retained by Make for 3 days, and execution-history activity records for up to 30 days. Requests are also held in a processing queue until processed.
Make’s AI service providers process the question and supporting information to generate an answer and may have separate retention arrangements. Processing may take place outside the UK. See Make’s data-processing documents and current subprocessor list.
